Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American artist and singer who rose to fame after she was the winner of American Idol's 2002 talent competition. Clarkson was born within Burleson Texas (a suburban area of Fort Worth), where her talents in singing were first observed by her 7th grade class teacher. Upon finishing high school, Clarkson moved to Los Angeles, where she was unsuccessfully trying to enter show business. She was picked to compete on the Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol singing competition, giving viewers the chance to choose their favorite artist. Clarkson's impressive voice, enthusiasm and funny nature won viewers. Clarkson won $1 million and also a contract recording deal in partnership with RCA as her prize.
