Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu was born in America. Liu is an American actor, singer and voice actor. As an intelligent and attractive actor, Lucy Liu acts as a role-model for several Asian actors in Hollywood that want to be successful. An early string of success appearances in popular television series led to her becoming famous for joining the cast in Ally McBeal, where she appeared as Ling Woo. Her sudden fame translated into film roles such as Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. She then delivered a superlative performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii In the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill Volume 1. In this period she was the main character in a few flops at the box office such as Rise: Blood Hunter. She then started voicing prominent characters in animated films such like Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's small-screen role as a character in Cashmere Mafia did not produce any results. The role she played in the critically acclaimed police drama series Southland helped re-establish herself as an established actress. Liu selects her roles with utmost care in order to ensure she is not cast in an industry that is competitive. Though she has embraced her roots she has not let them restrict her artistic abilities.
